Andrew Smith

Born in south eastern Saskatchewan, Andrew “Smitty” Smith has been fishing the lakes and river systems of northern and southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba extensively for more than 30 years.  6 years ago, Smitty helped launch FishingSaskatchewan.ca, billing the website as the ultimate resource for fishing in Saskatchewan.  FishingSaskacthewan.ca now boasts over 2 million hits a month, a forum with over 1500 registered members, and it’s own channel on YouTube with over 30 webisodes filmed entirely in Saskatchewan, in both summer and winter. In addition to joining the HT Pro Staff team, Andrew, along with Steve Bunka (also of FishingSaskatchewan.ca),  has spent time as a pro staff member for Vexilar, Aqua Vu, Strikemaster Ice Augers, and The Fishin’ Hole.  After hosting the HT crew at Tobin Lake, Saskatchewan to help film an episode of Tom Gruenwald Outdoors, and having worked with HT Enterprises over the past 3 seasons, Smitty is proud to now be part  of the HT Pro Staff team.
