ATTN: All Customers who purchased an HT 1-man Polar Escape Express or 2-man Polar Escape Magnum Ice Shelter this past winter season (Oct. 1, 2007 – March 15, 2008)

Dear Customer:

It has been brought to our attention that the cover material used in the production of your HT 1-man Polar Escape Express and 2-man Polar Escape Magnum ice shelters may not meet the flame code as specified in the Hazardous Products (Tents) Regulations in Canada.

For your safety, we are conducting a recall of the model PE-1 Polar Escape Express and PE-2 Polar Escape Magnum ice shelter cover materials. If you purchased an HT Polar Escape Express or Magnum ice shelter this past winter between October 1, 2007 and March 15, 2008, HT will replace this material cover at no charge to you.

Please call toll free, 1-800-216-5184 to request a free cover material replacement. Be ready to provide us with a copy of your dated purchase receipt, the street address where you would like the replacement sent to, and a phone number where you may be reached, if necessary. HT will cover the cost of the replacement part and the freight to ship the replacement cover.
